It’s time to apply for scholarships for the 2023-24 school year at Rogue Community College.
Current and incoming students planning to attend RCC during the 2023-24 academic year are invited to apply for about 125 scholarships provided through the Rogue Community College Foundation. The application is open through June 1 on the foundation’s website, roguecc.edu/scholarships. Students who apply by April 1 will be entered into a drawing for a $500 early bird scholarship.
In 2022-23, the RCC Foundation awarded about $825,000 in scholarships to approximately 275 students. The average award is about $3,000 per year, with a typical range of $1,000 to $6,000 per student.
Eligible applicants must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and plan to enroll in at least 6 credits at RCC in fall 2023. The application, which includes three short essays, takes about two hours to complete. About one in four students who apply are awarded a foundation scholarship.
The RCC Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 to serve the needs of Rogue Community College and its students. The foundation receives and administers donations to endowment funds, scholarship funds and special college projects.
