The Kalmiopsis Collection, a youth-centered art project, culminates Sunday May 22 with an Opening Party! Eight young artists created art with a connection to the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. It’s free (free snacks, too!).
The show will be on display alongside Renaissance 2022 through July 5th, open for viewing Tuesdays-Saturdays 10am-4pm. The project is co-created by Kalmiopsis Community Arts High School and the Southern Oregon Guild of Artists and Artisans. It’s funded in part by the Cans for Kids program of the Illinois Valley Community Development Organization, and also by the Josephine County Cultural Coalition and the Oregon Cultural Trust, together investing in Oregon’s arts, heritage, and humanities.
