Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest

Medford, Oregon July 18, 2022- The Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest is increasing the
fire danger to High on all ranger districts across the forest, effective at 12:01 a.m. July 19, 2022.
The Industrial Fire Precaution Level remains at Level 1 and Stage 1 campfire restrictions remain
in place within the boundaries of the Wild section of the Rogue National Wild and Scenic River
from Grave Creek to the mouth of Watson Creek.
Fire agencies in southwest Oregon are urging caution for all those participating in outdoor
activities this season. The right conditions can mean that just one small spark from an unattended
campfire, operating equipment or the catalytic converter from a vehicle could ignite fine fuels.
Please enjoy your public lands and help us keep them, and you protected, by minimizing fire
starts and smoke in the air.
