Four Way Community Foundation gives over $637,000 locally.
Annual grants, library crowdfund match, and endowment distributions add up to the largest giving year in the history of the foundation.

Grants Pass, Ore., May 11, 2023—

In its largest-ever amount of annual community support, the Four Way Community Foundation is giving over $637,000 to nonprofit organizations in Josephine and western Jackson counties. Community Grants awarded to 36 nonprofit organizations for capital needs totaled $232,500, and seven groups serving people with intellectual disabilities shared $57,700 in grants from the Rose Douglas Trust. The Four Way Community Foundation will issue over $97,000 in donor-directed endowment distributions. Also, the Foundation has matched $250,000 of the money raised by our community to help purchase the property for our future downtown library.

“Community members have invested in the Foundation for 48 years. As a direct result of their generosity, today the Four Way Community Foundation is able to make more gifts of more kinds than ever before,” said Board President Greg Fishwick. “The growth of our investments allows us to support our nonprofit community’s vital contributions to local quality of life, as well as look forward to our bright shared future.”
