Grants Pass, December 9, 2019 —The Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library will temporarily close December 14 through December 26 for floor repair. During this time, due dates and library card expiration dates are extended and all fees are waived. The book drop will be closed so patrons are asked to keep their checked-out items until reopening on December 27.

“We are very grateful to be able to repair the floors with the support of Josephine County and the Solid Waste Agency,” said Library Director Kate Lasky. “We apologize for any inconvenience to patrons. We encourage patrons to use the online library and our other branches during this time.”

Funding for this project is provided by Josephine County and the Solid Waste Agency.

Library patrons can use the online library by visiting josephinelibrary.org to check out over 35,000 eBooks, databases, and more. Patrons are also encouraged to visit one of the branches in Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek while the Grants Pass branch is temporarily unavailable.
