Grants Pass, November 16, 2019 —The Josephine Community Library Foundation is asking community members to make their end-of-year contributions by December 31, 2019 to help support the critical work of the library in our community.

Donations made to the foundation by December 31 will help the library with innovative programming, up-to-date materials, and providing vital access.

When making your annual donation this year, the foundation invites you to share your favorite library story and tell a friend. Stop by your local branch to transcribe your story, or visit jclfoundation.org to send it online. Stories can include your earliest memory, your favorite thing to do when you visit, or why you love libraries. Those stories will be placed in a special time capsule to be opened at the future grand opening of a new library building.

Secure online donations can be made through the foundation’s website or mailed to Josephine Community Library Foundation at P.O. Box 1684, Grants Pass, OR 97528. For more information, visit jclfoundation.org, email [email protected], or call 541-476-0571 ext. 200.

Sponsors for the foundation’s End-of-Year Fundraising Drive include Cauble, Cauble & Selvig, First Community Credit Union, Hart Insurance, and Southern Oregon Sanitation.

The Josephine Community Library Foundation is a nonprofit foundation established in 1987 to help keep viable and flourishing libraries available to the citizens of Josephine County. The Library Foundation raises money to help fund innovative programming, up-to-date materials, vital access and other special projects that are beyond the reach of the regular library budget. These resources enhance and improve the libraries in our community, supporting the library in building community and providing open access to information.
