Grants Pass, October 8, 2020 — Josephine Community Library offers a variety of fun and useful items in the Library of Things collection — because libraries aren’t just for books anymore. Items available for check out include PC laptops, STEM-themed toys, a sewing machine, musical instruments, recreational equipment, and much more.

“This collection is another way the library is connecting the community to the things they need,” said Volunteer and Adult Services Manager Amy King. “We’re hoping access to these items will make life easier for patrons. Some of these items are expensive or might not need to be used often so we want to remove the burden of having to purchase them.”

All items can be checked out for 10 days with a library card. Items can be requested online and picked up during curbside and Grab & Go hours at all four library branches. Curbside pick-up is available on Fridays and Saturdays between noon–4 pm at all branches.  Grab & Go hours are Fridays and Saturdays between 1–4 pm at all branches.
