In May 2017, citizens placed a measure on the ballot to permanently fund the libraries in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek. For the previous 10 years, the libraries were supported by generous donations and the heroic contributions of more than 360 volunteers annually. The newly formed Josephine Community Library District (JCLD) is committed to enriching the community through access to quality library services across Josephine County and will continue to rely heavily on volunteers to run all four library branches. Anyone interested in getting involved with the library can send an e-mail to [email protected].
