Cave Junction, Oregon – The public is invited to celebrate Small Business Saturday on November 26th with a vendor fair located in the newly opened front room of Bruno’s Cavern from 11:00am to 3:00pm, with a very special “Jolly couple” visiting from noon to 2pm. The event, promoted by the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Cave Junction, happens annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and encourages purchasing Holiday gifts from local small businesses and artisans to support local economies.
“Supporting local is important for the Illinois Valley economy; for every dollar spent at a local business, $0.68 stays in our community,” says Megan Pugh, Executive Director of the IV Chamber of Commerce. “Small Business Saturday is the perfect opportunity to support our local businesses, creative entrepreneurs, and talented artists in the Illinois Valley!” In addition to the vendor fair at Bruno’s Cavern, other local businesses in the area will be open for a variety of great shopping options and Illinois Valley Building Supply will hold their annual bucket sale.
Main Street Cave Junction, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and sustaining a vibrant downtown Cave Junction and the IV Chamber of Commerce encourage local businesses and artisans to advertise their hours and special offers the week leading up to Small Business Saturday for shoppers wanting to buy gifts locally.
“The businesses participating are looking forward to the event and it wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of the Chamber, organizations like Main Street Cave Junction, and partnerships with small businesses like Bruno’s Cavern,” says Pugh.
