Spiral Living Center’s Free Seed Swap and Scion Exchange

by | Mar 23, 2019 | Community Strategic Plan, Nonprofit, Youth

Spiral Living Center invites you to a free family event to bring the community together to share/swap seeds, starts, learn about scion and fruit tree grafting/planting, and celebrate another growing season together. If you don’t have any seeds, we would still love for you to come and bring home some seeds! Free scions (1 year growth fruit tree cuttings) will be provided by the Agrarian Sharing Network. Bring well label scions to exchange or just take home a few of their rare varieties! Apple rootstock will be available for a small donation.
For more information, visit their website: scionexchange.wordpress.com

We will have children’s activities (seed ball making table, interactive storytelling/music by Thistledown Folktales 1:30-2:15).  There will be seed growing/planting classes, fruit tree plant demonstrations and information tables. Local musician Scout will be playing her passionate old-timey folk. Tea and treats will be available.

This event will be held in the Frog Farm Octagon. Sat. March 30th 11-3 PM
No dogs, please.
