Josephine County Nonprofits May Enter Drawing for Ten $2,000 ARPA Grants

Deadline September 23, Live Drawing September 26th

Josephine County, Oregon: The Illinois Valley Community Development Organization (IVCanDO) and the Four Way Community foundation will be conducting a drawing on Facebook Live to allocate ten $2,000 grants to eligible nonprofit organizations in Josephine County. Groups having recently received funds under this program will not be eligible for the drawing.

Nonprofits wishing to enter the drawing should submit the following information by 5 PM on Friday, September 23 to office4wayfdn@gmail.com: their group’s name, mission, tax ID number, phone number, contact person information, and nondiscrimination policy, as well as about 100 words on how they, or the people they serve, were adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and how they would use the funds. The drawing will take place via Facebook Live on Monday September 26 at 9:30 AM on Illinois Valley Community Development Organization’s Facebook page.

These funds are the remainder of the ARPA distribution allocated to nonprofits in Josephine County by State Representative Lily Morgan. “An expert panel assisted us in distributing the first $80,000 to nonprofits, said Four Way Executive Director Kate Dwyer. “A random drawing seems the fairest way to allocate the rest.”
