Kindergarten Toolbox program

Library provides Kindergarten-readiness series funded by The Ford Family Foundation

Grants Pass, September 27, 2022— Children ages 3–6 and their parents or caregivers are invited to join the 6-week fall session of the Kindergarten Toolbox program on Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 pm at the Grants Pass branch of Josephine Community Library beginning September 29 to promote Kindergarten Readiness.

During this six-week session, families will receive a “toolbox” with school supplies and other materials accompanied by demonstrations and practice sessions designed for preschoolers. Each week a new book and “tool” will be offered. Tools include letter and number manipulatives, fun activities, tips for parents, and more.

Space is limited and registration is required for the fall session from September 29 through November 3. Same-day pre-registration is okay.Participants will meet in the meeting room at the Grants Pass branch, 200 NW C Street, on the following Thursdays for the fall session: September 29, October 6, October 13, October 20, October 27, and November 3.
