New Preschool Opening in Cave Junction
Subhead: One small step towards solving Oregon’s Child Care Crisis
Cave Junction, OR: All Around Kids Community Preschool opens in Cave Junction this Monday, April 15th. All Around Kids is a new program of a long-standing non-profit organization in the Illinois Valley, Healthy U. Serving fourteen children aged 3-5, the center accepts Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) payment and offers a sliding-scale pricing model to ensure that the service is affordable for families. The half-day preschool program follows the Reggio Emilia Approach of Early Childhood Education, which is characterized by the belief that the child is a capable co-creator of their own learning. Operating from Monday to Thursday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, All Around Kids is designed to nurture each child’s mind, body, and heart.
