Spiral Living Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving the Illinois Valley since 2006. Our mission is to create a sustainable, self-sufficient community in the Illinois Valley. In order to achieve this overall goal, we encourage all who live in the Illinois Valley to secure their basic necessities. Our all-volunteer team provides free skill-building “skillshares”, hosts a community radio station (KXCJ), provides donation-based bicycle repair (IV Bikespace), harvests and distributes fresh produce to food banks and programs in the Valley (IV Gleaners), and maintains a tool and book library.
