The Southern Oregon Guild presents the first art exhibit of 2024 at ART IN THE VINEYARD featuring a solo collection of paintings from local Guild Member, Caitlin Brigid Rice. Caitlin’s collection of work includes large abstract acrylic and oil paintings that are full of texture, movement, and light! Join us on Friday March 29 from 4-6pm for the opening reception located at Bridgeview Winery’s Tasting Room. Opening reception is FREE with delicious appetizers provided along with a variety of Bridgeview wine available for purchase.
Caitlin Brigid Rice was born at Black Mountain College in Asheville, NC and raised in Topanga Canyon where at the age of 13 she started taking classes from local artists. While living in Colorado over the last several decades, she was very active in the art scene and her work has been shown at the Student Art League of Denver Summer Art Market, Niza Knoll Gallery, the Boulder Library Gallery, Open Studios Boulder, First Fridays at Cedar Studios, and the Rembrandt Gallery in Boulder. Caitlin now calls Southern Oregon home and locally her work can be seen at Gallery One in Grants Pass and The Southern Oregon Guild Gallery in Kerby, OR.
Bridgeview Winery is located at 4210 Holland Loop Road Cave Junction, OR 97523. They are open on weekends only from 12-6pm. The Southern Oregon Guild is a 501c3 nonprofit organization supporting artists and the arts in Southern Oregon.
