Pam Haunschild is an award-winng watermedia painter based out of Ashland, OR. Her specialty is nature: landscapes, wildlife and the ocean. She goes beyond realism in her approach – one that deepens the connection between the viewer and the natural world. Her distinctive style is colorful, highly textured and semi-abstract. She works in watercolor and acrylics, often combining the two and using natural materials that leave impressions in the paint. She is a signature member of Artists for Conservation and was juried into the Watercolor Society of Oregon and other arts organizations. She has been on TV and radio, and her paintings have been used in Southern Oregon literary journals and catalogue covers. She is represented by Art & Soul Gallery in Ashlaland and Second Street Gallery in Bandon, Oregon.

Barbara Parchim lives on a small farm in Southwest Oregon. She has worked as a landscaper, apple picker, library assistant, travel agent, and social worker, and volunteered for several years at a wild-life rehab center caring for resident raptors and wolves. She draws most of her inspiration from nature – the garden, the wilderness, and wildlife. Her poems have appeared in various publications, including Allegro**, Canary, Cirque, Otoliths, The Pedestal Magazine, Turtle Island Quarterly, and Windfall. **Her first collection of poetry is What Remains published by Flowstone Press in 2021.
